The world of television

Why is it that people get so hooked into television? As mentioned before I have mum here for 2 weeks and I have notice how the older generation get hooked into TV. Is it because their live has become boring and they can only find TV for comfort, or is it that the programs they watch are so addictive that they have to watch it? Do they know what is real and what is fake, these are the things that I have been wondering. I think that TV takes away too much of the family time, that once we held so dear, I wish for those days to come back.

Mother has arrived

Well it has been a long time since I have seen mum, almost 10 months. God she look good for 75 years. It is funny how you never think of your parents getting on their years but underneath it all they are. It was just the other week that my Father in law took a turn and had a stroke, hard to believe that this active man has been taken over by old age, yet he still believes that he is young and is talking about going Rabbit shooting in the next couple of weeks. I think it is good that our hearts tells us we are only as old as be feel yet it is the body that lets us down first. My motto is still standing firm then live life to the full.

Wow ! I have made to the world of blogging

Well this has been a challenge, not the simplest thing I have done to date but least i can now tick it off the bucket list. Yes the bucket list. My list of things that i must do before the end of time, and yes i do have plenty of time.
